Professor Li Xijiang, a young scholar of the School of Foreign Language Education, published as the first author an article titled The Ordering Distribution of English Temporal and Spatial Adverbials Of Chinese EFL Learners and L1 Conceptual Transfer in Issue 1, 2020 with Professor Liu Yongbing of Northeast Normal University as a co-author.
This article examines the relationship between the ordering distribution of English temporal and spatial adverbials of Chinese EFL learners and L1 conceptual transfer to understand the mechanism of negative L1 transfer on L2 learning.
Publication of this article is evidence of our recent work on improving research environment of the school. By encouraging research cooperation with scholars at home and abroad and motivating teachers to publish quality articles on prestigious journals, the school has made progress in research publication.
