In accordance with the Announcement on Application for the General Program of the MOE Foundation of Humanities and Social Science in 2021(No.{2021} 6) issued by the Department of Social Sciences of the MOE (Ministry of Education), the Office of Social Sciences of Jilin University noticed that:
Types of the General Program in 2021 include: (1) Planning Foundation Project with direct cost of no more than 100,000 yuan per project; (2) Fund for Young Scholars with direct cost of not more than 80,000 yuan per project; (3) Self-financing Project, funds are raised independently by applicants from relativedepartments in society or enterprises and public institutions, with no lesser than 80,000 yuan per project.
There is no reference guide to the application, applicants are suggested to select their own research topics rigorously by a concise principle based on personal research accumulation and academic expertise. Selections of topics are required to take fully consideration of the historical intersection of “Two Centenary Goals”, demonstrating distinctive features of times, problem orientation and innovation awareness. Titles of selected topics should be normative, accurate, and concise.
